Cebuano singer-songwriter Vincent Eco will be holding a pay-what-you-can live acoustic gig this December 7 at Bintana Coffee House, Cebu City.
The show comes right after the release of his latest single titled “The Way Things Go” off his upcoming EP, Sa May Baybayon (From The Shoreline).
Joining him on the lineup are Liana San Diego, Keith Human, The Vast, St3r10, and The Sundown bandmate Aaron Domingo. All proceeds from the gig will be going towards Eco’s fundraising campaign for his forthcoming performance at Music Lane Okinawa in Japan this January. Find out more details about the show via Melt Records’ Facebook page here.
In other news, Eco’s “The Way Things Go” was recently featured on Coast2Coast‘s inaugural list of the 25 best VisMin songs of 2024. We wrote, “Vincent Eco is one of the most talented singer-songwriters in the country, and “The Way Things Go” continues to prove that statement. All the singles leading up to his forthcoming EP Sa May Baybayon(roughly translated as From The Shoreline) have been one hit after the other. However, “The Way Things Go” is a gem out of all three. That bridge, where Eco bares his soul in a heartwrenchingly and soulful rasp, is a car crash of emotions (in the best way).”
