Pop and EDM producer St3r10 dropped a surprise drum-and-bass remix of Coloura’s “First Time” last December 6.
In a Facebook post announcing the track, the producer — also known as Franco Dosdos — wrote, “The first time I heard ‘First Time’ by Coloura was during their live performances, I fell in love with the song and how it really grooved. Over time as I kept hearing the song in gigs and in my personal Spotify playlist, an idea grew in me to make a liquid drum n bass remix for the song to give the song a different vibe a different personality.”
“I asked Jake [Relacion, frontman of Coloura] if I could do it and Im grateful he was down for it. After I finished the demo for the remix I played it in gigs here and there to tease. After awhile I finally settled on the final version and Im very proud of how it turned out.”
“First Time” was originally released in 2022 as part of the band’s In Between EP. The six-track drop also included a remix of “Drive And Meet You,” produced by Relacion himself.
In other news, St3r10 unveiled his own album titled Dreams With You earlier this year. The record includes features from a variety of Cebuano artists, such as Liana San Diego, Wiji Kun, Keith Human, Sulkee, and more.
