Cebu’s independent music festival, September Fever, is officially back.
2025 marks the first year that September Fever will feature international acts from Singapore and South Korea. Joining these guests on the lineup are also a diverse set of acts across genres all over the Philippines. Whether you’re a hip-hop head or a pop girl, there’s an act for everyone on this year’s roster.
Just like last year, September Fever will feature four stages: the September Fever main stage, the Coast2Coast stage, Baihaus analog stage, and the Cradio Radio digital stage.
With over 15 acts on the lineup, we created the ultimate guide to the fest — who to look out for, fan favorites, and more. Check out our list below.
September Fever will take place on September 6 at Unity Coffee and Vinyl. Tickets are priced at P550 for online sales and P650 for walk-ins. Tickets are now out here.
The headliners: Subsonic Eye, Hathaw9y, Honeydrop, and Zeke Abella

This year’s headliners celebrate a mix of legacy acts and new fan favorites across the region. You have Singapore indie rock pioneers, Subsonic Eye, who are making their debut performance in Cebu this September. Fresh off the release of their fifth studio album, Singapore Dreaming, the band has made waves all over the world for their thoughtful lyricism and outstanding instrumentation.
On the other hand, you have Hathaw9y from Busan in South Korea. In the same way where Cebu is seen as a “second city” to Manila, Busan is South Korea’s “second city.” Despite this, the indie pop band have made their mark by blending indie pop with influences from funk, jazz, rock, and more.
The final two headliners seemingly bring together Cebu’s past and present — Honeydrop, one of the most prominent bands during Cebu’s indie resurgence in the 2010s, makes a highly-anticipated reunion on this year’s stage. R&B singer-comedian Zeke Abella is also making his September Fever debut, where he’ll be bringing his unique singing voice and charming personality to September Fever.
Subsonic Eye is great for fans of: Sonic Youth, Sobs, Snail Mail, One Click Straight
Hathaw9y is great for fans of: Alvvways, Autotelic, Sunkissed Lola
Honeydrop is great for fans of: Fazerdaze, Rusty Machines, Yellow Fang, Oh Flamingo
Zeke Abella is great for fans of: Daniel Caesar, Joji, Arthur Nery, Dionela
International artists to watch out for: San the Wordsmith and Dabda

On the lineup are also acts like Dabda from South Korea and San the Wordsmith from Singapore. Dabda’s brand of math rock brings together influences from shoegaze and dreampop to create sweeping, anthemic songs that fill a room.
Seemingly on the other side of the spectrum is San the Wordsmith — a rapper and lyricist from Singapore who explores hip-hop subgenres like boom bap, trap, drill, and more.
Dabda is great for fans of: Cotoba, tide/edit, Megumi Acorda
San the Wordsmith is great for fans of: Morobeats, Hev Abi, YB Neet
Mindanao’s rising acts: Cerise and Evita

Building on last year’s Coast2Coast Visayas and Mindano tour, Davao’s Cerise and Cagayan de Oro’s Evita are joining the fray for this year’s September Fever.
Mindanao’s independent music scene is as active as ever, and these two bands are no exception. Both are genre-bending acts, with Cerise blending jazz, rock, citypop, and more while Evita’s discography mashes together alt-rock, jazz, blues, and punk.
Cerise is great for fans of: Up Dharma Down, Alyson, Mariya Takeuchi
Evita is great for fans of: Soccer Mommy, Zild, Suyen
Manila’s best: Muri x crwn

September Fever lineups are not complete without an act from Manila, and this year’s edition proves to be a treat. Pop fusion artist Muri is joining forces for an exclusive set with critically acclaimed producer and artist crwn. While not much has been revealed yet on their new dynamic, we’re sure that their joint set at the fest is one to look out for.
Muri x crwn are great for fans of: The Ransom Collective, Laufey, Jacob Collier
Celebrating Cebu’s diverse music scene: Hip-hop, R&B, folk, psych rock, pop, indie

Ever since its inception, September Fever has always been committed to highlighting Cebuano excellence. This year’s lineup is no different, and is as diverse as ever. Making their September Fever debuts are acts like the psych rock trio Vedas, Bisaya R&B singer Jericho Streegan, hip-hop trio Bakeshopboyz, and alt-pop artist Sauf. You also have fan favorites making their well-awaited returns, like folk-rock singer-songwriter Vincent Eco and the surfpop outfit Sansette.
Analog and digital: Spins from Cradio Radio and Baihaus
It’s not a Cebu music scene night without DJs. Baihaus rejoins September Fever with their analog stage, spinning all-vinyl goodness with their Baihaus crew. On the other hand, hop on over to the Cradio Radio stage for that dance-filled and up-beat energy that the DJ collective has been known for. Cradio Radio’s resident DJs Moni-Moni, Pizza Salad, Salo-Salo, and Mike Sharpe are set to light the dance floor on fire.
