RVERB is officially rebranding. The Cebu-based label and production house is kicking off their relaunch with Local Louder: a stunning whole-day event composed of music workshops, DJ open decks, and a live show.
The event is slated to happen on July 26 (Saturday) at From Here, Crossroads from 1 PM to 1 AM. Local Louder also features a host of prominent producers, artists, and DJs, such as sought-after producers like Vince Lucero and Franciskoe (of the critically-acclaimed Nevermnd Studios); underground favorites Bantayan Bass Club; rapper Felhony; R&B singer-songwriter Julia Q; and many more.
First established in 2022, RVERB initially started as a place to develop Cebuano hip-hop and R&B artists. It has since grown to organize events, support local DJs, and create workshops for artists and fans to deepen their skills in music.
Now, RVERB is committed to expanding its mandate to focus on building community. “I want to try everything I can to communicate properly with the audience and to inspire and invite more upcoming artists, producers, DJs, as well as visual artists, videographers, photographers, and the like, to join the RVERB Community. I want to tell them that there’s a place for their art here,” shares RVERB founder Jeaun Tolsa.
When asked about what inspired the concept of Local Louder, Tolsa continued, “I wanted to challenge myself and our group to bring together all the concept events we’ve done before into one day. We did Beatdown, a music production workshop, two years ago. Then we had the Office Party last year, and, of course, RVERB Live, which are live performances. We merged these with RVERB.02, which is a DJ set for fans who love hard techno and dubstep. I want people to learn something, network, connect, get drunk, see new artists, and cap off the day with hard techno and dubstep.”
Tickets for Local Louder are priced at P250 and are available at From Here, Crossroads.
