Cebuano pop rock band Coloura are back with a new single titled “At 25, somebody told me I looked like a young Pete Wentz.”
The track is their first stand-alone release since their 2023 EP, Love and Influence. “At 25…” is also the first taste of the band’s new era in sound, where they lean into more pop punk and electronic influences. It also kicks off the campaign for the upcoming album, which is set to premiere sometime this year.
In a press release, Coloura frontman Jake Relacion shared, “We were aiming for a more raw, organic yet polished sound, which kinda led us into a whole new genre. It’s a bit heavier than our previous EPs, and is mostly inspired by 2000’s alternative rock and pop-punk.”
Last year, the band released a remix of their track “First Time,” which was produced by local producer St3r10.
